INTRODUCTION
Common carbon structural steel, also known as ordinary carbon steel. The limitations on carbon, performance range, phosphorus, sulfur
and other residual elements are relatively wide. As a result, there are more impurities and the price is moderate, mostly used in places where performance requirements are
not high. The carbon content is mostly below 0.30%, manganese content is
less than 0.80%, and the strength is low, but the plasticity, toughness and cold deformation properties are good.
Except in a few cases, it is usually used directly without heat
treatment to manufacture strip steel, profiled steel, steel plate, etc.
SS400 round bar is the most common yet widely used grade as a structural steel.
SS400 grade is also known as JIS3101 having low carbon content.
This kind of steel is widely used for manufacturing industrial
applications and equipment.
APPLICATIONS
It has a wide range of uses and a large amount of usage. It is
mainly used in railway, bridge, all kinds of construction projects,and to produce all kinds of
metal components bearing static loads, mechanical parts and welding
parts which are less important and need no heat treatment.

These round bars are available in seamless, welded and fabricated
types and in different shapes and sizes as per the demand and
requirement of customers. At the time of manufacturing these bars,
national and global specifications are added to the material.
